PICTURE EDITING

I edited this film for The Tate about 2023 Turner Prize nominee Ghislaine Leung.

Artist Ghislaine Leung takes a critical look at the ways in which art is produced, presented and circulated. She has developed a process of art-making that is based on ‘scores’. These are text-based instructions or descriptions that are realised by institutions in close conversation with the artist.

In this film, narrated by Leung, we follow the installation of her work Violets 2 at Towner Eastbourne, and see how art technicians interpret the work’s score within the unique parameters of the gallery space.

I edited this film for the charity Parental Alienation Awareness

Parental alienation usually occurs in divorce, separation and child contact issues. It is the destruction of a relationship between parent and child and involves a set of coercive and controlling behaviours. This leads to a child emotionally cutting off from a “good enough” parent who poses no safeguarding risk to them. Individuals use strategies to create conflict between a child and the parent who is targeted for alienation. These behaviours and intended conflict lead to the loss of that relationship for many years and tragically sometimes for a lifetime.

I edited the showreel for Film, Photography, and Event space First Option Studio.

How many famous chefs can you spot in this video? Fun fact, I was also the studio manager here for 5+ years working on high-end TV shows, movies, advertising, weddings… the list goes on and on. I must have seen close to 300 different directors work in the same space, and it’s amazing what kind of insight that gives you.
